Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and that they shall put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue (Tekhelet). Numbers 15:38
The blue cord (fringe) is a representation of Yeshua Hammashiach [Jesus the Messiah]. Blue the color of God's holy throne, the heavenly realm. The blue cord is called the "shamash" or "servant thread" and as believers we know that Yeshua came as a servant and we are commissioned to do the same; ...whoever wants to become great among you, shall be your servant. Mark 10:43
Wearing tzitzit is a preference for many believers today and wearing them is a constant reminder of our response to the saving power of what Yeshua (Jesus) did on the cross for us.
One of the tzitzits in the set has a small stain on the white thread (not real noticeable).
Wearing Tzitzit is a reminder of:
- To keep YHWH's commandments
- To be holy and set apart
- To worship YHWH with ALL your heart
All Tzitzit's were created with the Gematria 7-8-11-13 which totals 39 (Ashkenuzi style), meaning the numerical equivalent of the words: 'THE LORD IS ONE' Deuteronomy 6:4 [No mixed materials used; only 100% cotton or wool]
