In Isaiah 44:6 it says, “Thus saith the Lord the king of Israel, and His redeemer (Gaal) the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” The word redeem means to buy, get, or win back. God came in the flesh in the person of Yeshua, The son of God, to redeem or buy us back with His own life (I Peter 1:18-21).
