The symbology of the dove tail: doves mate for life. When a dove finds its soulmate, those doves only have eyes for each other. If one of the mates die the other is true to the one that passed on. This is a beautiful analogy of our coming to Salvation = Jesus Christ. He is our mate for all eternity, the One whom our soul adores.
