Miriam's Song
Shirat HaYam
Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine (small drum/tof) in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dancing, as Miriam sang to them:
Sing to Adonai, for He is highly exalted!
The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!
(Exodus 15:20-21, TLV)
This ancient song is one of the oldest recorded passages in Scripture—a powerful declaration that God alone delivers His people from bondage. It is a warrior's anthem, proclaiming freedom, victory over the enemy, and the faithfulness of the Covenant-keeping God.
As you worship with these flags, remember that praise is a spiritual weapon. Like Miriam, you are invited to lead with joyful obedience, lifting a song of triumph over every battle. May these flags serve as a prophetic expression of freedom from generational oppression, a celebration of God's mighty acts, and a declaration that every victory belongs to Him.
Miriam's courageous leadership reminds us that heartfelt worship can inspire an entire generation to rejoice in the goodness and power of the Lord. As these flags are raised in worship, let them release songs of deliverance, awaken faith, and encourage others to exalt the King of kings with exuberant praise.
