Miriam's Song
Shirat HaYam — Song of the Sea
Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine (tof) in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dancing, as Miriam sang to them:
“Sing to ADONAI, for He is highly exalted!
The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”

Miriam’s Song is inspired by Shirat HaYam—the Song of the Sea, the great song of deliverance lifted after the children of Israel crossed through the Red Sea.
On the other side of bondage, Miriam the prophetess took the tof (hand drum) in her hand and led the women in joyful worship, dancing, and praise. Their song proclaimed what the LORD had done: He delivered His people, defeated their enemy, and brought them into freedom.
These flowing silk flags are a prophetic expression of deliverance, freedom, and victorious praise. Shades of blue and green reflect the waters of the sea, while brilliant yellow speaks of the joy and exuberant praise that erupted when God's people witnessed His mighty hand.
As you raise Miriam’s Song in worship, remember that praise is a powerful spiritual weapon. Let these flags become a declaration over every battle:
Sing to ADONAI, for He is highly exalted!
The God who delivered His people then is still our Covenant-keeping God. Every victory belongs to Him.
