AMETHYST - February's Birthstone

This gemstone Cross necklace makes a great gift. The Brazilian chain necklace has a crab-claw clasp. This genuine amethyst pendant is carved into a beautiful cross.  The gemstone and light and darker shades of purple in it which, make it very unique.

The color Amethyst is strongly associated with the month of Adar - אַחְלָמָה (Hebrew.)  It is identified as a gemstone on the high priest's breastplate, Exodus 28:19, 39:12. Sometimes Amethyst is called the "dream stone," and is associated with spiritual visions and represents the tribe of Gad.
