Beautifully handcrafted from hardwood gathered from the Ozark Forest, each Matteh displays the natural artistry found in God’s creation. Every piece is individually hand-cut, dried, shaped, and sanded by a skilled wood carver, allowing the unique character of the wood to remain part of the finished design.
In Scripture, the Hebrew word matteh (mah-TEH) refers to a rod or staff. Throughout the Bible, the rod is associated with authority, leadership, strength, and the purposes of God. Moses' rod became a powerful biblical symbol of what God could accomplish through something surrendered into His hands.
Each Matteh is substantial, extremely durable, and completely unique. A beautiful high-gloss finish enhances the natural character of the hardwood, while a leather strap and protective rubber tip complete the design.
