SILK FLAG: Torches, silk flag w/fire fringe edge

Deborah – Torch of Fire Silk Flag

“Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.”  Judges 4:4–5 (NKJV)

Deborah: a “woman of torches”—fiery, bold, and a wielder of flames. A prophetess carrying a powerful, burning revelation.

The Hebrew phrase eshet lappidot reflects this identity— a woman associated with fire, light, and divine intensity.

  • Strong’s (H3940): lappid = torch; lappidoth = torches (also: firebrand, burning lamp, lightning)

In Scripture, the torch often symbolizes revelation, illumination, and the shining forth of truth.

Isaiah 62:1: “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent… until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her salvation like a blazing torch.”
