Long SILK FLAG: Torches, fire fringe edge

Deborah — Torch of Fire

“Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.”
Judges 4:4–5, NKJV

Deborah, prophetess and judge of Israel, was a woman of courage, authority, and prophetic revelation. Her identification as the wife of Lapidoth carries striking imagery, as the Hebrew word lappid is associated with a torch, flame, or burning light.

The Hebrew expression eshet lappidot has also been understood as conveying the imagery of a “woman of torches”—a fitting picture of Deborah’s boldness, spiritual fire, and God-given leadership.

  • Strong’s H3940 — lappid: torch, lamp, flame, or lightning

Throughout Scripture, the torch carries imagery of light, revelation, and the shining forth of truth.

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent… until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her salvation like a blazing torch.”
Isaiah 62:1

This flowing Deborah — Torch of Fire worship flag reflects the fiery imagery of a woman raised up by God to stand boldly, hear His voice, and bring His light into a critical hour.
